As a native New Yorker, Mercedes has an acquired love for The Arts. Her inspiration has been cultivated through world travel, immersing herself in culture, and meeting people from varying disciplines whether it be through dance, crafts, or discovering new artisans.
Rather than follow trends, she remains in touch with an instinct for designing spaces that are cast ahead of the curve. Mercedes intuits new spaces through experimentation and active listening for her audience. This allows Mercedes to curate design ideas conceptually in unexpected ways. Self-directed color forecasts have been heralded by clients as they un-cover desirable palettes.
When precious downtime is allowed, she seeks a vacation spot for leisure and learning, watching mysteries, or throwing on her salsa dance shoes.
